Right of withdrawal

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract for a regular standard print within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period generally begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, send an unequivocal statement, for example by email or letter, to:

It is sufficient for the withdrawal notice to be sent before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

Following a valid withdrawal, payments received are reimbursed in accordance with the statutory rules no later than fourteen days after the withdrawal notice is received. Reimbursement may be withheld until the goods are returned or evidence of return is provided, unless a statutory exception applies.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For standard sizes that can be returned as a parcel, a prepaid return label can be provided on request for €6.90; alternatively you may arrange return delivery at your own cost.

For sizes that cannot normally be returned by post because of their nature, the estimated direct return costs are stated in the binding offer before the contract is concluded.

You are responsible for diminished value only where it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Genuine custom-made goods

The statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods that are not prefabricated and whose production is materially determined by an individual choice or specification by the consumer, or which are clearly tailored to personal needs. Any such case will be identified expressly before a custom order is concluded. Producing a regular standard print after an order is placed is not automatically sufficient.
